Fact:

You don’t give someone suicidal ideas by talking about suicide. Rather, the opposite is true. Talking openly and honestly about suicidal thoughts and feelings can help save a life.

Mission

Our Coalition exists to save lives by working to reduce suicide rates in Lucas County through prevention, outreach, awareness and connection to supportive resources.

Vision

The vision of LCSPC is a community where no lives are impacted by suicide.

We accomplish our work by partnering with county stakeholders to offer prevention strategies such as educational presentations, professional development, events and stigma busting messaging.

We do this work because we know that suicide is preventable.
