How is LCSPC responding to the suicide crisis in our community?
New Grant initiative supports our commitment to professional development and support to those engaged in prevention work, allowing us to emphasize the importance of cultural competency and specialty populations being served.
Our Board/Subcommittee has also been striving toward diverse representation and equitable access to resource sharing and messaging. Partners in this work so far include the MHRSB, Mercy Health, New Concepts, UChange, Equitas Health.
In summer of 2023, a training series will include front line staff and provider training to recognize the common barriers to treatment and how our communication, process and policies can impact our goals toward equitable care.
