QPR Presentations

QPR Presentations

QPR is a training opportunity where anyone can learn the signs that an individual is contemplating suicide and how to respond in the moment. The Coalition can provide this training to small or large groups of people of all ages, in person or virtually. For more information about QPR, visit https://qprinstitute.com.

Professional Development

Professional Development

The Coalition leverages the expertise of our members to provide ongoing support and education for members and the community on suicide prevention and mental health topics. We believe that talking about suicide helps to normalize the discussion of mental health.

Mental Health Awareness and Stigma Busting

Mental Health Awareness and Stigma Busting

Our meetings and activities confront the stigma of suicide and mental health treatment head-on. The members of the Coalition learn about ways to build coping skills, build awareness of resources and engage all members of our community as part of the solution to end suicide.

Collaboration and Partnership with Stakeholders

Collaboration and Partnership with Stakeholders

The Coalition is comprised of a wide variety of individuals and organizations with diverse experiences and skill sets. Collaborating to develop effective programs and prevention strategies is one of our most important endeavors. The Coalition works together to share knowledge and provide support for members’ education and outreach activities.
